Description

Organoleptic description
Pikolit is an autochthonous variety of the Goriška Brda. The wine is of a special premium quality. It is of a golden yellow colour with a subtle shade of amber. Its aroma is reminiscent of field flowers, white peach, ripe fig and the acacia honey. Its taste is sweet, warm and rich in an ideal sugar: acidity ratio; it offers a pleasing lengthy after-taste.

Pikolit is too aristocratic to be combined with various dishes. We recommend it with oysters, cheeses with noble blue mould and with fresh patés of goose and duck liver.
